The team has been appointed as a local counterpart of the World Economic Forum, the Institute of Management Development Competitiveness Yearbook Report (WCY) and Arab Planning Institute taking over the task of monitoring Jordan's competitive performance by following up the Global Competitiveness Report (GCR), Arab World Competitiveness Report, the World Competitiveness Yearbook (WCY), and the Arab Competitiveness Outlook.

 I. World Economic Forum

The World Economic Forum is a global community of business, political, intellectual and other leaders of society 'committed to improving the state of the world.' The JNCT has been appointed as a local counterpart of the World Economic Forum (WEF), taking over the task of monitoring Jordan's performance in the Global Competitiveness Report (GCR), the Global Information Technology Report (GITR), and the Arab World Competitiveness Report (AWCR).

Global Competitiveness Report

The Global Competitiveness Report provides international benchmarking for 104 economies and detailed country competitiveness profiles. The report is split into two separate complementary global rankings: the Growth Competitiveness Index (GCI) and the Business Competitiveness Index (BCI), measuring growth and productivity respectively.In 2004, the report introduced a new index of competitiveness: the Global Competitiveness Index (GCI), with the goal of unifying the two aforementioned rankings into an index ,which is destined to become the 'flagship' one of the Global Competitiveness Report.

Global Information Technology Report

The Global Information Technology Report is a benchmarking tool to determine national ICT strengths and weaknesses, and to evaluate progress. The Report uses the Networked Readiness Index (NRI), covering a total of 102 economies in 2003-2004, to measure 'the degree of preparation of a nation or community to participate in and benefit from ICT developments.'

The Arab World Competitiveness Report covers 16 countries and contains an assessment of the conditions, structures and policies that are integral to the region's competitiveness in the global economy.

 II. Institute for Management Development (IMD)

 World Competitiveness Yearbook

The WCY is a comprehensive annual report on the competitiveness of nations, ranking and analyzing how a nation’s environment creates and sustains the competitiveness of enterprises. The report covers 60 national and regional economies with 323 different criteria grouped into four competitiveness criteria.

III. Arab Planning Institute - Kuwait

The Arab Planning Institute is a non-profit regional organization whose primary mission is to advance the cause of economic and social development in Arab countries through trainings, researches, consultancy, expert-group meetings, and publications.
